Facilities

Central location

Its accessible location in the centre of Denmark makes Vingsted the obvious choice when many participants from all over Denmark are joining up for an event. Furthermore, the distance to  Billund Airport is only 20 km, which makes international participation even easier. We have 30 years of experience in planning and organising meetings, seminars, events and conferences, and this has given us loads of hands-on experience with this - also when it comes to the tiniest of details.

 

Capacity for large and small events

Vingsted's many rooms of various sizes makes the place ideal for events of every kind. From congresses and parties with up to 1500 guests attending, annual meetings with 900 guests in need of accommodation to seminars, one-day meetings, parties and celebrations, sports and teambuilding events.

We have about 30 large and small meeting rooms, 1 lecture hall, 1 centre hall and 2 gyms, which can be converted into a congress facility or a ballroom. All rooms/facilities are equipped with every modern technical appliances.

Hotel***

Vingsted is a 3 star hotel in accordance with the classification system of Horesta (the association for the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry in Denmark).


Our guests have the following at their disposal:

  • 187 comfortable (200 as of 2010) and modern hotel rooms with en suite bathroom, television, telephone and internet access (free of charge).
  • Most rooms can be used as single, double or family rooms (accommodating 3-5 persons).
  • 8 dormitories suited for up to 10 persons. Also ideal for accommodation of sports teams.
  • For large events the capacity can be increased to 900 persons by transforming, for instance, meeting rooms to dormitories.
  • 500 free parking spaces

 

Conference centre****

Vingsted is a 4 star conference centre in accordance with Horesta's classification system (the association for the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry in Denmark), and our many facilities make Vingsted the perfect setting of congresses, conferences, trade fairs, exhibitions as well as small-scale meetings and seminars.

Our guests have the following at their disposal:

  • Two gyms with a total area of about 2,000 m² with room for up to 900 participants at e.g. a conference or 1,500 party guests.
  • A lobby area of about 200 m² offers a wide range of possibilities for exciting trade fairs and exhibitions
  • The oval centre hall and our lecture hall are ideal for small-scale exhibitions, product presentations or conferences with 200-300 participants.
  • 30 small and large meeting rooms.
  • All the necessary AV equipment as well as the required exhibition equipment such as partition walls, spots, sockets, rugs etc.
  • A staff of professional technicians with extensive experience erecting and dismantling exhibition stands.

 

IT / AV equipment

The classification as a 4 star conference centre is evident from the interior design of our premises, our service as well as the available AV / IT equipment (use of our technical equipment is, of course, included in the rate).

 Our technical staff ensures that the AV equipment agreed on is in place when the participants arrive. Moreover, the technicians will be at your disposal during the event or may be called upon at short notice if the technical equipment fails.

Our well-equipped office workshop is at the seminar instructors' and seminar participants' disposal. The workshop contains PCs with Windows XP Pro and the latest Office pack, laser and inkjet printer, internet access, DVD burner and a separate email address. Moreover, a code protected photo copier is at your disposal.
If you have special requirements beyond the hotel's standard services, we have special arrangements with an external partner who is able to offer all sorts of solutions.

All meeting rooms and seminar rooms contain:

Our largest seminar rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art AV equipment. Furthermore, we offer a varied selection of standard technical equipment:

  • VHS video and VHS camera
  • Digital camera and DVD

Restaurant

Our restaurant is renowned for its excellent kitchen and is known as a great eatery, something that all our guests benefit from. The tasty food is enjoyed in the pleasant restaurant with the cosy atmosphere overlooking the valley called Vejle Ådal.

  • The restaurant and the adjacent dining room seat 300 and 200 guests respectively.
  • The restaurant may be divided into 3 smaller units.
  • At large events the food is served in one of our 2 conference halls.
  • Our conference menu and meeting refreshments and not least our large morning buffet are renowned for turning any event into something special.

You have ample opportunity to work up a sweat with one of our many indoor activities:
